Monica Sharma, MD, is an educator, designer of whole systems transformation, a practitioner- coach and expert in Leadership Development for equity. She is the author of the award-winning book “Radical Transformational Leadership: Strategic Action for Change Agents”. The book is the winner of the 2017 Nautilus Gold Book Award for Business and Leadership. Past winners include Andrew Harvey, Deepak Chopra, Desmond Tutu, Eckhart Tolle, The Dalai Lama and Thich Nhat Hanh.

As director of Leadership and Capacity Development at the United Nations and in other large-scale programs UNDP and UNICEF, she designed programs for whole systems transformation and leadership development world-wide. She has published and presented over 250 articles in journals and international forums.
Monica Sharma created and uses a unique response model based on extensive application—the conscious full-spectrum response (CFSR) model—which is for simultaneously solving problems, shifting systems, and creating new patterns sourced from individual inner capacity and transformational leadership. This model has generated sustainable results worldwide on key sustainable development goals and themes over the past 30 years in over 65 countries worldwide.

This is based on her extensive experience over 25 years in more than 60 countries in the application of various methods for tangible results for people’s development worldwide using cutting–edge transformational approaches and methodologies, with the purpose of achieving measurable and sustainable change.
Monica’s courses on Radical Transformational Leadership are held on-line and in different locations for civil society, government, business, United Nations, media and academia, with over 15,000 alumni. These courses focus on concrete results and are a synthesis of ethical leadership, cultural and systems change and strategic valued-based action.

Currently, she engages worldwide as an international expert and practitioner on leadership development for sustainable and equitable change.

Glasika cares deeply about humanity, joy and happiness. She currently works as program coordinator of RTLWorks. She is a member of the RTL Global Mental Health group. She trained to be an engineer and thereafter pursued professional social work counsellor training from the Tata Institute of Social sciences, Guwahati. She is an RTL Practitioner Coach and has been trained in using the RTL tools and templates and applies them in her work on promoting wellbeing in the school. She also works in the field of mental health and emotional learning (SEL) for school children. She works closely with marginalised communities to foster well being and empathy.

After 22 years in the development sector with variety of organizations – the UN, grassroots organizations, policy think tanks, civil society and academia, he has now dived into an adventure of setting up the next generation development consultancy and social purpose enterprise “RTLWorks”.
He is a development professional with multi-disciplinary backgrounds in disaster management, environmental sciences, environmental economics, policy, and environmental law. Till March 2020 he was Programme Director at Mahatma Gandhi Academy of Human Development (MGAHD), heading a center of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai located in Nagaland focusing on Livelihoods and Social Entrepreneurship.
He started his career in 1998 with UNDP-India, New Delhi as a Programme Development Specialist on their Environment & GEF Programme. He has since then worked in several locations with a range of civil society groups on inter-disciplinary aspects of natural resource and environmental management. He has also worked in the area disaster response and management and travelled widely in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and the Andamans, at various stages of the tsunami disaster relief and rehabilitation and has also served on multidisciplinary teams for assessment and evaluation of tsunami disaster rehabilitation.
At the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, in the Director’s office handling innovative and transdisciplinary projects, such as - TISS-LAHDC Ladakh Project, the Socio and Ecological Stewardship Programme TISS Andaman Nicobar Initiative, National Water Mission -TISS Project , Mahatma Gandhi Academy for Human Development , Nagaland and the TISS Fellowship Programme, where, as a practitioner coach he fostered and mentored young development professionals on leadership, project design, and management for whole systems transformation and cultural shifts.

As a practitioner coach trained in the Conscious Full-Spectrum Response Model and a transformational leadership approach based on universal values and ethics to generate enduring results, developed and created by Dr. Monica Sharma.
He also delivers and implements Radical Transformational Leaderships ‘learning-in-action programs’ - for both business and non-profit organizations on different aspects of leadership development for sustainable change.
He is passionate about demystifying knowledge, science, and technology and making it work for planetary and people’s well being and always stretches to engage with issues from multiple perspectives and a holistic frame that is ethical and fair for both people and planet. His current interests are social ecology and commons (social, cultural and natural resource), climate change and adaptation, disaster management, leadership for trans-disciplinary processes for systems change. His hobbies are cycling, motor-biking, music and travel.
